Conference Trips

For many centuries, Thailand was formerly known by foreigners as Siam. Sukhothai and Ayutthaya used to be the famous Siamese capital cities in 1238-1463 and 1351-1767 respectively; both of them were declared by the UNESCO as the World Heritage sites.

Siam is now well-known as Thailand and Bangkok is its capital city. Thailand is ranked at the 50th largest country in the world (about 514,000 square kilometers)where it is located in the heart of the Indochina peninsula. There are 65 million people in which nearly 10 million live in Bangkok - the capital city of Thailand.

Bangkok has a tropical savanna climate where this experiences hot, rainy and cool seasons. Thailand temperature has fairly hot throughout the year, ranging from 22°C to 38 °C approximately. In June where the THC 2015 conference is held, the weather should be around 26°C and 35°C with average rainy days of half.

The currency used in Thailand is Thai Baht (THB). Thai is the official language, but English is also spoken and understood among Thais.Buddhism is the dominant religion in Thailand. To safe time of visiting Bangkok could be straight to the most spectacular temple “Emerald Buddha Temple” – a must visit in Bangkok. We as a host of THC 2015 look forward to welcoming you to the most combination of nature and urban of Thailand.
